On behalf of the entire Yarmouth PTO, we would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We couldn’t be more excited for this school year! We have lots of fun events in place, some traditional and some new. The K-8 PTO is an integral piece of our distinguished school district, providing support to every single one of our students, their educators and the curricula that they teach. By being a part of the Yarmouth School District, you are already a member of the Yarmouth PTO. You can choose to be involved as much or as little as you’d like!
Your PTO supports and enhances the educational and recreational experiences of our K-8 students. We are an organization working to provide programs and enrichments to your students throughout the school year. Over 25 field trips and in-school experiences are funded by your PTO in a typical year. Families do not receive requests to pay for all of these special experiences throughout the year and our teachers can rely on PTO fundraising to provide consistent support to their curricula.
We are always looking for volunteers to sustain our programs and fresh ideas to create new ones! We would like to continue to meet the needs of our district while they change. There is no better time than the present to get involved and make a difference in the lives our students.
This is how you can join the team:
- Board Position – All current board positions are full for 2022/2023.
- Join a committee – If you feel passionate about a specific fundraiser/community event and want to get involved then please send us an email or specify which event is of interest to you in our 2-minute Volunteer Survey. The more hands on deck the better!
- Sign up for our email list by filling out the Volunteer Survey or you can send us an email if that’s more convenient. Look out for our emails requesting volunteers throughout the year. We need volunteers for everything from event planning to photocopying! We are always looking for helping hands!
Sincerely,
