heard rave reviews from teachers and administration. We didn’t forget our HMS staff! They will have a luncheon on March 11. We will not have a traditional sign up, as we are coming off the heels of the Glow Run and want to give HMS parents a bit of a break. OPEN PTO POSITIONS: We are looking for a third person to help run one of YES’s most popular events –
Field Day! Field Day
occurs at the very end of the school year. We’re looking for a person
with organizational/ project management skills who wants to join an
already organized – and fun – team. We are in need of a second Book Sale Chair for the Ice Cream Social. This year, we will hold an ice cream social at both YES and Rowe, which will take place May 28 ad June 3 respectively, The ICS team is a fun team to work with, and this is a favorite event for students. If you’re interested or would like more information about either position, please contact Christy and Jessica at yarmouthpto04096@gmail.com. |

BOX TOP DUE DATE EXTENDED: You have a few more days to get your box tops in! We’ll be collecting and mailing them in to Box Tops on Wednesday,

school office. Friendly reminder that it’s easy to download the app for
the scannable box tops. The app instantly adds cash to school earnings

THANK YOU BOARD & CHAIRS!
A HUGE thank you to Mary Post for
introducing, organizing, and running the HMS Glow Run! This fundraiser
was an enormous success due to Mary’s persistence and extremely hard
work. Thank you to Christina Copsey for
bringing the much-lauded Dr. Ross Greene to us. Thank you also for her
wonderful idea to live stream Dr. Greene’s talk for parents who couldn’t
attend (http://bit.ly/RossGreeneVideo).
Much appreciation goes to Rebecca Maltais, Christina Copsey, Heather DeCourcey, and Kate MacGilpin
for organizing events through which families can connect
such as the Rowe Family Ice Skating event. Their work is so important
in helping build community. A big round of applause goes to Tiffany Marianski
and Rebecca Spear for
organizing the Rowe and YES staff luncheons. This gave administration
and staff a break from making lunches as well as yummy food, for which
they were very appreciative! |
