Parenting Talk with Dr. Ross Greene

The Yarmouth PTO invites all parents and teachers to a free presentation by best selling New York Times author, Dr. Ross Greene. Dr. Greene is an American clinical psychologist and has written several books including The Explosive Child, Lost at School, Lost and Found, and Raising Human Beings. He is well known for developing the model of intervention called Collaborative and Proactive Solutions. In his most recent book, Raising Human Beings, Dr. Greene has turned his attention to all kids with a particular focus on teaching skills such as empathy, appreciating how one’s behavior affects others, resolving disagreements without conflict, taking another’s perspective, and honesty.
The talk will be held on Tuesday, January 28th at 6:30pm on the 3rd floor of the Merrill Memorial Library in Yarmouth.
