Recently the 2nd grade enjoyed a PTO funded experience with visits from Maine Audubon! Catherine Grist from Maine Audubon Society was at YES to teach our children about Maine animals in winter. She talked about the many adaptations animals have in order to survive in our cold climate. Ask your child about their favorite part of the presentation. Perhaps there are some tips we can use from our furry and feathered friends to keep ourselves cozy this winter!
